Key Projects and Experience

  • Designing and leading a 12-month Leadership development program to change the leadership culture around performance monitoring and accountability – focussing on fast tracking performance, high achievement strategies and coaching and development of top performers. I was responsible for all budget management and decisions.

  • Developed documentation and plans around the smoking cessation campaign working with both internal and external stakeholder including government and lobby groups.

  • Managing customer interactions across multiple communications channels making it easier for stakeholders and clients to do business with the organisation and making them feel that they are dealing with a single, unified organisation that recognises them at every touch point.  Also included a process and workflow analysis to create process models which could be used by the organisation.

  • Working with senior executive to design a communication and change initiative to drive policy and environmental changes in relation to irrigated farms use of catchment water.

  • Develop a Change and Communication Plan for the implementation of a new IT System. Oversaw all the business readiness activities, issues and risks and corporate governance. Developed a workshop to train staff and communicate key lessons.

  • Conducting a full review of transformational change at leadership level including coaching processes to ensure alignment with the company values and engagement by staff at all levels.

  •  Restructuring the Organisational Development team, including recruitment and redeployment and auditing performance management systems and processes to focus more strongly on a customer retention model.

  • Designing and implementing an on-line on-boarding and induction program including a change management and communication plan to facilitate uptake by the business units.

  • Leading a team of Learning and Development professionals to rollout a companywide self-managed learning program (on a Learning Management System) to enhance innovation and problem solving aptitude (using blended strategies).

  • Supporting a team to independently assure an $800 million project with over 900 Full Time Employees (FTE’s). My team and I succeeded in leading changes to the way the organisation’s Leadership and Change Management Program team operated, greater visibility into planning and project deployment activities, as well as improved focus on the behavioural aspects of the organisation’s transformation.  I also had oversite of the project budget to ensure on-time and within budget delivery.

  • Designing and creating all systems and processes in alignment with Human Resource practices and philosophy in particular workplace relations, HR policies and procedures and financial management.

  • Analysing organisational culture, and partnering with Executive & Senior Leadership teams to determine key strategies to build a learning vision and strategy that drives business outcomes.

  • Developed and delivered team and organisation training materials and workshops, building knowledge and skills to facilitate the Agile transformation.

  • Established and supported communities of practices to promote organisational understanding of Agile roles and to help individuals develop into them.

  • Project to design a professional development initiative that improved product and service delivery times and quality of customer sales and service.

  • Conducting capability review to assess their ability to meet future objectives and challenges. Including looking at how to align processes, systems and people expertise.

  • Evaluating and restructuring a leadership curriculum pathway to work towards best practice in attraction and retention strategies.

  • Designing and developing a sales management curriculum mapped to the company's values and core competencies.

 

  • Designing and managing an on-line learning curriculum, including a skills matrix, for front line customer service representatives in a fast moving consumer goods environment.

  • Designing and project managing the introduction of a 6-month professional development (PD) program for accountants. Including a speaking tour around Australia to launch and promote the program 

 

  • Rolling out and facilitating a computer based psychological profiling system (including New Zealand and South Africa divisions of the company) to improve recruitment effectiveness.

 

  • Working with a senior team to design a Service Excellence national workshop for a group of financial planners. Including a change management strategy to shift the focus from pure sales to an advice, sales and service model.

  • Facilitated over 3000 professional development workshops.
